Training Requirements At least one team member must view the local training video (available through online training on this website)

The BSW PGDs are available to view here

Pharmacists must have completed:

CPPE Consultation skills; Sepsis training; Antimicrobial stewardship; Level 2 safeguarding;

and read/understand:

RCGP TARGET antibiotics resources; and BSW Antimicrobial prescribing guidelines 

Evidence of appropriate CPD by the Lead Pharmacist or Technician (which may include appropriate CPPE materials) All patient facing staff are aware of the service
Getting Started Contact the CCG Medicines Management team to arrange for a contract to be signed by the person authorised to do so in your organisation

Confirm Declaration of Competence for at least one pharmacist on PharmOutcomes

Contact the CCG Medicines Management team to find out if there is a need in your locality and arrange for contracts to be signed by the person authorised to do so in your organisation

Purchase the appropriate medicines in the stock list to ensure you have the minimum levels in stock

Claiming Record of consultation on PharmOutcomes will generate claim Via PharmOutcomes annually for fee and when required for replacement of expired stock Record of supply on PharmOucomes will generate claim
